Some 1964 newspaper clippings

Its 1964 and someone puts some old papers in a loft. Many years later the papers are discovered when the house is being re-wired by my friend Dilwyn.
I'm amazed at just how often the Beatles are mentioned- just about every paper features them in some way - be it in an advert or some throw away article. Here now is my selection of those old papers...

David Bailey's Cool poster

A classic Beatle photo fatures on this poster for David Baileys photo exhibition which I went to at the Barbican. David was there and gave a talk and I got an autographed book - but this poster isn't signed.
